This book is designed as a contribution of the Thailand Institute of Justice to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2015. The primary focus of the book is on Thailand’s experience in crime prevention and criminal justice. The book is also a presentation of the extensive research and technical assistance that the Thailand Institute of Justice has conducted in Thailand and among Southeast Asian countries as well as the TIJ’s work in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to develop and implement standards and norms on crime prevention and criminal justice. The book appears in connection with the celebration of the first ten years of the work of the Thailand Institute of Justice.
