The Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) places importance on your private data and has worked following the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). Thus, the TIJ imposes the Personal Data Protection Policy to provide you, who are in contact with or would like to be served by the TIJ, with an opportunity to acknowledge our data security and protection policy involving the process to collect, use, or disclose the personal data, including your rights as the owner of the personal data. The TIJ would like to ensure you that we will use appropriate security measures to protect your personal data.
Furthermore, if necessary, the TIJ would review and adapt the Personal Data Protection Policy and would notify you accordingly.
Personal Data We Collect
The TIJ collects personal data sent directly to our website for:
(1) use or petition to access the right to participate in the TIJ's activities, including e-newsletter subscription, job application, and seminar registration;
(2) voluntary participation in a survey collection, e-mail correspondence, or other communication channels;
(3) accessing our website via browser cookies.
The samples of the personal data we collect are name, surname, photo, address, e-mail address, mobile number, or cookies.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
The TIJ will not disclose your personal data for other purposes than those the owner has provided for, except where there is a contractual obligation or required by law.
In case there is a need to collect, use, or disclose your personal data in addition to what is agreed, or to make a change to the purpose of the collection, use, or disclosure of the personal data, the TIJ will notify the data owner prior to taking the action, except where it is required or permitted by law.
Personal Data Retention Period
The TIJ will retain your personal data as long as it is necessary to process the data for designated purposes. Once the retention period expires, your personal data will be destroyed.

In addition, the TIJ has prescribed its internal practice on the rights to access or to use your personal data, in order to secure and protect your privacy, and will review the practice periodically.
