TIJ hosted the research findings workshop on Women as Justice Makers

28 September 2016 – Dr.Sita Sumrit, Chief of the Women and Children Empowerment Programme , Eileen Skinnider, Senior Associate, International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice, Vancouver, Canada, and the TIJ team of researchers hosted the research findings workshop on the Women as Justice Makers in the ASEAN region: roles, trajectories and influence to exchange and share their ideas and knowledge about “Women as Justice Makers”, “What are the perceived differences between men and women based on the gender norms/stereotypes?” and "What are the challenges of women in the criminal justice system?”.


The workshop not only provided the research findings to TIJ staff and TIJ team of researchers but also gave the opportunity to share and receive the ideas which can improve analytical skill for all TIJ staffs.
