Good Start for Society Co., Ltd., also known as Restart Academy received the ASEAN Outstanding Social Welfare and Development Awards 2025, which was accepted by Dr. Anuwan Wongpichet, Deputy Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Justice via videolink during the 21st ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Social Welfare and Development hosted by the Republic of the Union of Myanmar today (August 28, 2025).
Restart Academy was founded in 2022 as a Social Lab to help people who have taken a wrong turn in life rebuild their potential and reintegrate into society with dignity. It later grew into a social enterprise. Participants in the program receive life and career skills training from experts in fields such as restaurants, spas, salons, and, most recently, arboriculture—the care and management of large trees.
