TIJ - DSI organized a Workshop on “Psychological Analysis and Investigative Interviewing Techniques for Special Cases.”
On 20 January 2020, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief Pol.Col. Paisit Wongmuang appointed DSI deputy director-general Pol.Lt.Col. Pakorn Suchivakul to preside over a Workshop on “Psychological Analysis and Investigative Interviewing Techniques for Special Cases” for DSI senior investigators and practitioners at Best Western Plus Vanda Grand, Nonthaburi Province.
The Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) appointed Mrs Mutita Lertluksanaporn, Outreach Program Manager, to attend the Workshop. This Workshop was co-hosted by the TIJ, DSI, and Hanns Seidel Foundation, Germany. For the keynote speakers, the United States of America appointed an expert from Federal Bureau of Investigation and Norway appointed an expert from Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, University of Oslo.
This Workshop, started from 20-24 and 27 January 2020, aims to build awareness and capacity on psychological and behavioral analysis, effective interrogation technique, and integrated knowledge and skills to their works correctly and justly to gain the trust of the people.
