TIJ - DSI organized a “Workshop on Psychological and Interrogation Technique for Special Cases.”



On 20 January 2020, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief Pol.Col. Paisit Wongmuang appointed DSI deputy director-general Pol.Lt.Col. Pakorn Suchivakul to preside over a “Workshop on Psychological and Interrogation Technique for Special Cases” for DSI senior investigators and practitioners at Best Western Plus Vanda Grand, Nonthaburi Province.


The Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) appointed Mrs Mutita Lertluksanaporn, Outreach Program Manager, to attend the Workshop. This Workshop is co-developed by the TIJ, DSI, Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, University of Oslo, and Hanns Seidel Foundation, Germany. The United States of America also appointed an expert from its Federal Bureau of Investigation to be the Workshop keynote speaker.


This Workshop, started from 20-24 and 27 January 2020, aims to build awareness and capacity on psychological and behavioural analysis, effective interrogation technique, and integrated knowledge and skills to their works correctly and justly to gain the trust of the people.
