7 March 2016, Dr. Kittipong Kittayarak, Executive Director joined the event "Power of New Generation for the Gender Equality" at the Royal Police Cadet Academy, Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom.
Co-organized by UNWomen, the Embassy of Sweden, the Royal Police Cadet Academy, and TIJ, the event which marked the International Women’s Day aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of police cadets about gender sensitivity, as well as promote the awareness of their roles as police officers and youth in ending violence against women. The high-ranking executives of each co-hosting organization, including H.E. Mr. Staffan Harstrum, Ms. Anna - Karin Jutfors, and Pol.Maj.Gen. Manote Tantratian discussed the social attitude and socio-cultural issues which foster inequality and discrimination. More than four hundred people attended the event.
