On 2nd August 2016, Dr.Kittipong Kittayarak, Executive Director of TIJ gave a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Asian Law Students Association Annual Forum (ALSA Forum Thailand 2016), which was held at Chulalongkorn University and was attended by over 200 law students. The aim of the forum is to provide law students from all over Asia an opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience, and opinions concerning emerging legal issues. The forum’s main themes for this year are drug decriminalisation, rethinking the role of prisons, action against rape culture, and overcoming racial biases.
During his speech, Dr.Kittipong emphasized the role of youth as change makers and assured the participants that TIJ is ready to support youth activities from every country.
