The side event: Rehabilitation and Social Reintegration of Women Prisoners
Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) and Penal Reform International (PRI) will launch the ‘Guide to the Rehabilitation and Social Reintegration of Women Prisoners: Implementation of the Bangkok Rules’ at the 28th Session of the United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ).
This event will also showcase UNODC’s work related to the rehabilitation of women prisoners and its current projects in Latin America (in Bolivia and in El Salvador) implemented under the Global Programme for the Implementation of the Doha Declaration, as well as promising practices in Japan.
