The world’s first “Borderless Youth Forum”
Take a guess on what could come out of innovation, justice and collaboration. The answer is, the world’s first “Borderless Youth Forum”, where justice is explored through the method of Design Thinking.
Today, 162 youths from 14 countries came together for an experience of a lifetime. This was their chance to engage in social issues closest to their hearts, learn first-hand from experts from their own countries and, through technology, collaborate with like-minded peers from different countries across the globe.
Three important issues were on the table, social reintegration of ex-prisoners, gender-based violence and access to justice for vulnerable people. The forum is a collaboration between TIJ and UNODC, under the doctrine of investing in rule of law and sustainable development for a better future – and the future starts with the youths of today.
